The Nirmal Sethia Charitable Trust and N Sethia Foundation is the sole donor of the Dhyan Mandir Meditation and Information Centre that has been built near Birla Mandir in New Delhi.
It consists of Lord Venkateshwara, Dhyan Kendra, Information Centre and Community Centre.
Interestingly, it is for the first time that a Lord Venkateshwara Temple’s Information Centre and Dhyan Mandir have been built outside TTD Tirumala. While the programs are diverse, the focus is on the natural environment.
Mr Nirmal Sethia, upon visiting the Tirupati, noticed the deplorable condition of the pilgrims, taking it upon his shoulders to provide comfortable accommodation to the devotees and pilgrims. When the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthnam proposed the construction of Dhyan Mandir and Information Centre, Mr Nirmal Sethia consented and donated the funds required for the construction of the project in the year 1986. The complex was inaugurated by Mr.Sethia in May 2013.
