The Centre for Research in Autism and Education at UCL

A partnership between the UCL Institute of Education, University College, London, and Ambitious About Autism, The Centre for Research in Autism and Education (CRAE) aims to enhance the lives of autistic people and their families by conducting ground-breaking scientific research. The research undertaken by CRAE is collaborative in its approach, working with autistic people, and uses this evidence-based knowledge to make a real difference to people’s lives.

The broad research programme at CRAE includes experimental work on social, cognitive and perceptual development in autistic children, adolescents and adults. CRAE actively engages with autistic people, their families, teachers and clinicians, as well as policymakers and the wider public, to promote awareness and acceptance of autism.

As part of a long-standing relationship with UCL, the N Sethia Foundation was pleased to support the CRAE initiative with a donation in 2016.
