Jain Dadabari at Jaipur, India

Jainism is one of the most compassionate religions in the world. It endorses the sanctity of all living creatures. In fact, ahimsa or non-violence is one of its fundamental principles. A principle that Mahatma Gandhi held dear to his heart and one that helped India gain independence from the British Raj.

The Nirmal Sethia Charitable Trust is proud to sponsor cultural and social activities that promote peace, introspection and a more compassionate way of living. Towards that end, the Nirmal Sethia Charitable Trust made a sizable donation to the construction of the Jain Dadabari hall, in Jaipur, Rajasthan to accommodate 200-300 people for meetings and meditational practices.
